Excuses Are Useless

"Excuses Are Useless"
"Man I was getting ready to do it", just say "you forgot."
I know to get it done, I have to bug you a whole lot.

I heard all the excuses, that I care to hear.
I'd be rich if I got paid, what was promised in my ears.

I know that if I fail, then it's on me.
I'm making it match what I said, "you will see."

I'm pretty good both ways at, jabbing those jaws.
That will do nothing, to make my talents raw.

Real and uncut, fresh off the press.
I'd be a fool if I waited, and didn't do my best.

What would I stall for, the next coming life?
I'm sure that I Am, not waiting on the next lie.

Let me get off this poem, I have some people to call back.
I have to because I said, "I would do that."
"Excuses Are Useless"
